Dan, I used to have a photo from the 1920’s of a vent named Rizzy Green, or Izzy Rizzy. I’m not sure which. There was another more recent vent with Izzy in his name, & the two have become jumbled in my mind. But the one from the 20’s had a figure that matched this one right down to the outfit! The name might have even been RUZZY Green. Wish i still had the photo to share with you. Be neat if this was his old figure. GREAT figure!!
Dan, it came to me at work. Above the photo it said “Happy New Year 1928″, & below the photo it said ” Ruzzy Green & his little pal “Jimmy”. Knocking ’em dead this week at the Odeon, Kinosha, Wisc.” Like i said, the figure looked exactly like the one you show in this video, even the suit.
Bill I wish you had the picture too as it would be great to have compared. I purchased this figure from an antique dealer from New York and he was unable to supply previous ownership.
