Ventriloquist Central Get Punch & Judy

Being a collector I just could not resist when I was able to ad Punch & Judy to the Ventriloquist Central Collection. Even though this is a true puppet set it is so closely related and this set was so nice I just had to have it.

This is a set of eight figures with a wonderful example of both Punch and Judy carved from basswood. Also in the set is the baby, rabbit, policeman, snake, lady and crocodile. These figures are all old figures dating from the 1940’s and 50’s and all are still in beautiful condition.

This set up also came to the collection with a wonder stage set to do the show. Across the top it says Paul’s Puppets. And it says that because this set belonged to Paul Berson a great performer and builder of some very fine magical apparatus. Unfortunately Paul has passed on but another thing that accompanied this set was a great dvd ( it was transferred from tape) of Paul doing his Punch & Judy show.

I just had to share this set with you all and I hope you enjoy seeing same.

Dan….Great Punch set……you’re very fortunate to have “Pauls” Theatre to go with the puppets. It looks terrific & adds so much more to the puppets. Congratulations.

Very nice Dan. I used to do a Punch and Judy show many years ago. With today’s political correctness, it would be hard to do today. My figures were cast in Plastic wood.
The fold-up theater looks great as well. Puppeteers carry a lot of stuff around.
