Ventriloquist Central is the brainchild of Dan Willinger and Steve Hurst. Dan is a ventriloquism enthusiast and ventriloquist figure collector. He has been collecting for over 25 years. He created the Ventriloquist Central Collection. It now has over 100 ventriloquist figures and over 50 of them are Frank Marshall figures. Steve is a ventriloquist as well as builder of ventriloquist figures. He also has a background in sales, marketing, building websites and computers. 1. Thanks for the wonderfull look inside!

  2. John says:

This is an excellent view of some awesome mechanics! Thanks!

  3. I notice from the video the figure has no top palate.
Is this common in Marshall figures?
Thanks again Dan for the great look inside the head!

  4. Dan says:

Jim you are correct. Marshall did not use a top palate. You get a creal view into the head from opening and looking in the mouth.

  5. Thanks for the reply Dan.
I have watched clips over and over of Jimmy Nelson and Danny O’Day where he does the ” Timber” bit and has Danny tip way back and I never noticed it is possible to see into the head , so I guess the absence of a top palate really doesn’t effect the handling of the figure , at least not if one is a master like Jimmy Nelson!
