If for some reason you haven’t heard, we’ve decided that we’ll have another Ventriloquist Central Birthday Bash for 2013.
And we’ve been hard at work, securing the Hyatt Hotel (getting the best deal possible) once again for this event, plus getting performers for the Saturday night show and workshop/lectures to speak in the after noon.
The previous Birthday Bash was a blast….in fact here’s what a couple of attendees had to say about it:

I am only an amatuer. I performed once in the last 12 years for some 3 and 4 year olds, for my granddaughter’s pre-school. I was scared! (with a replica Jerry Mahoney (from Jerry Layne). The rest, just for the entertainment of my grandchildren and myself. The kids loved it. My wife said my lips were FLAPPING LIKE CRA ZY!!! LOL.
I made my own dummy about 10 years ago, called Gus. He’s an older man (almost life-size) – and how I did it, I just don’t know! I’d post my home video if I knew how!!
But, I loved Paul Winchell and Jerry and Knucklehead. They were my idols when I was a kid. (Now I’m 64). I’ll never be a professional, like the videos I’ve seen, but I always love vent’ and the people that can pull it off – especially now-a-days!
