Sad News for fans of ‘The Twilight Zone’
Actor Cliff Robertson passed away on September 10th at the age of 88. Cliff portrayed ventriloquist Jerry Etherson in ‘The Twilight Zone’ episode entitled ‘The Dummy’. The episode first aired in 1962 and is frequently shown in almost every ‘Twilight Zone’ marathon. For those of you who never saw this classic episode, a brief synopsis follows.
A ventriloquist is convinced that his dummy has a mind and will of its own. This episode is available on DVD in Season 3,Disc 5 of ‘The Twilight Zone – The Definitive Collection’. A bonus feature is an audio commentary by Cliff Robertson.

Sad to read of his passing, I will watch it this evening,it’s not that long ago that Jacky Cooper left us.
I watched that episode just recently. I have always been a fan of Cliff Robertson, “Pt 109”, “Charley” and so many other movies and TV productions. He was a fine actor.
