Rare Rene Ventriloquist Figure

MVC-015S

Originally when I started this blog, it was to offer a rare “Rene” ventriloquist figure, much like “Bob”. However, no sooner did I put it on the Ventriloquist Marketplace that I already had a buyer and the figure is sold.

But, since it’s an interesting Rene figure and one of the older ones, I thought you might enjoy seeing him.

This is a very early figure from Rene made in the 1970’s. He has side to side eyes and slot jaw. Both function well. Rene built his figures out of neoprene which is a hard rubber.

Over the years the head stick on this fellow has become bent ever so slightly but still functions great. The paint is all original but it was touched up on the end of the nose, a great job, and around the ball socket of the neck.
