More Pinxy Restoration

As will happen sometimes you find a diamond in the rough. This is what happened
to me with this Pinxy figure.

I realised after receiving him that he was not just over painted but in fact there was
a coating of plastic wood which was smoothed out and overpainted but it was rough.

So i got out the sandpaper and after some exhaustive sanding large cracks appeared on both sides of the nose and got larger as I sanded.

I stopped and put the blade of a fine screw driver under it and made a turn and the entire over sculpt of plastic wood popped off showing the GREAT comical original nose that rested underneath. I am super excited.

More to come
