Since we changed over to the new look for the Ventriloquist Central Blog we’ve received some very positive emails from many of you. Thanks for the nice comments.
Some of you have asked more about what’s going on, so I thought I would ask Steve, my partner and webmaster to explain.
Yes we have made changes to the Ventriloquist Central blog and more changes will be coming in the weeks and months to the Ventriloquist Central website.
Now right off the bat I don’t want anyone to panic. I know how we as humans tend to like things the way they are and can be resistant to change. But there are good reasons for these changes.
First and foremost, the Ventriloquist Central website has grown by leaps and bounds. Far more than Dan or I had ever imagined. In fact the visitors to our site have grown at a rate of 5 times more over last year than the previous year. THANKS to each and every one of YOU for making this happen.
Plus, we keep providing as much information as we can that we think you would enjoy seeing. Between all the information and the major influx of visitors, Ventriloquist Central is busting at the seams.
Now I don’t want to get too technical but the technology that the site was built on in the beginning is now outdated and needs to be updated (badly!!!). That is the major reason for the changes. Otherwise, I don’t think the present website will be able to keep handling the growth that Ventriloquist Central is experiencing.
But along the way there may be a few bumps in the road (Murphy’s Law)….so at anytime if you experience problems with the website, please email me so I can take care of the situation.
By the way, even though you can get to the new blog using the old website address, it won’t be that way forever. So be sure to change any bookmarks or links to the new address which is:
On the bright side, these changes will allow us to offer more types of information to you dealing with our wonderful art of ventriloquism as we progress to the future. And, we also want YOU to keep sending in YOUR information so that we can share it with the readers of Ventriloquist Central.
We are confident that in the long run, you’ll love the new changes coming.
Thanks Steve for the explanation and I hope this answers a lot of your questions.
