Junior Open Mike at the Vent Haven ConVENTion

For me going to ConVENTion has become, for me, almost like a great family get together and getting together with all my friends every year is simply a treat that is very hard to put into words. I simply love the comradery that is shared by all who attend.

But for me one of the best parts about the ConVENTion is attending the Junior Open mike session. These youngsters that perform every year simply blow me away with every aspect of their performances.

They put together great routines, practice like crazy on the manipulation of the characters and of course their lip control. Some of these youngsters put the adults to shame. That is not something I say lightly but factually. These kids are fantastic and when you see them perform you will understand exactly what I mean.

Remember, Jeff Dunham was one of these kids that performed every year and look where he is today. It is very possible that one of these current children that performs each year will be the next.

But….you have to attend to be able to see this development of the newer generation of ventriloquists.
