Changes Coming to the Ventriloquist Marketplace

The New Year is right around the corner and with it will be a slight change to the Ventriloquist Marketplace.

This past year the Marketplace has had a record year of items being posted and sold not to mention a huge increase in traffic to the site. From the beginning, all we wanted to do was offer a place that ventriloquists and enthusiasts could buy, sell or trade their ventriloquial items. And we have done just that.

Of course providing this service has been a lot of work for my partner and webmaster, Steve, and I hope you’ll agree he does a fine job. With this in mind, we feel it’s time to increase the listing fees for items to be sold on the Marketplace.

Don’t panic. It’s still going to be much more affordable than any of the “other auction sites”. Starting on January 15, 2012, the listing fee will be $9.97 (see, told you not to panic…also classified ad listings are still free). This slight increase will help to defray some of the costs in keeping the website up and running.

I’m sure you’ll agree that this is a very small compensation for the services that you get on the Ventriloquist Marketplace.

However, you can take advantage of the current listing fee up until January 15, 2012, so if you have anything you want to sell, put it on the Ventriloquist Marketplace.
