I consider Wanlu a friend. I’m in the US and he’s in the Phillippines, and we will likely never meet.
But we have met on the Internet and through emails, and two of my figures were purchased through Wanlu (and one soft puppet he outright gave to me!).
I’ve seen him perform in English and in his native language, and through my conversations with him I know that he’s enthusiastic about and dedicated to his art and untiring in his promotion of it.
